I am working on updating this website after 5 years of inactivity. I will be blogging more regularly. I have a small backlog of old unfinished posts on nutrition and health, photography, and technology that I plan to release over the next couple months.

I am currently living in Georgetown, TX outside of Austin with good roommates in a quiet rural area. We even recently got gigabit cable Internet. If you're in the area, you can often find me at the Austin LessWrong meetup on Saturdays.

I went carnivore in October 2018 as an itervention for chronic health issues. It's been an interesting experience and the best health intervention I've found. It was a logical next step after restricted AIP wasn't as successful for me anymore.

After 2 years, I have finally made it to book three of Neal Stephenson's Baroque Cycle, The System of the World. Highly recommended, along with his other works.

For non-fiction, I am reading I Am Error by Nathan Altice, which is an excellent dive into the history and technical details of the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES). Highly recommended.

I am working remotely in the contact center of a major national boating retailer as an Operations Analyst. My work primarily involves reporting automation (mostly Python) and data wrangling, forecasting contact demand, workforce planning, and IT administration. My major work goal for 2020 is to automate myself out of my position.
